There is a strong hand to receive anxiety.
Everything Is In the Father’s Hands
Peter invites us to cast all our anxiety on God, because He cares for us

This short devotional is about anxiety, from 1 Peter 5:9.
your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kinds of suffering.
1 Peter 5:9
The scene
We are in Galatia, a region of hills and plateaus where the brothers and sisters who received the letter lived.
Peter saw the sufferings of Christ up close. Also an elder, he writes through Silvanus to brothers and sisters who were going through afflictions, and sends greetings from the church in Babylon.
He asks them to humble themselves under God’s mighty hand: “Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.” And he reminds them that the same sufferings are happening to their brothers and sisters in the world.
Whoever casts anxiety on God never goes through affliction again.
Peter does not promise the end of affliction: he points to the Chief Shepherd, who will appear. We walk with Him on the way. Trust the Shepherd.
In our day
We carry the whole week on our backs: the bills, the health of those we love, what is still to come. It seems that if we let go, everything falls.
Peter calls us to come under God’s hand, and reminds us that the same sufferings are happening to brothers and sisters in the world. Casting anxiety on Him does not erase the problems, but we do not carry them alone: He cares for us.
Relief. Peter calls God "the God of all grace", who called us to His glory.
God's grace goes ahead of us and steadies us on the way. Rejoice in this care and hand over to Him what still weighs on you.

Anxiety. Peter writes to brothers and sisters who were going through afflictions and reminds them they were not the only ones.
Affliction is not a sign of being off God's path. He cares for us in the midst of it. Receive this care.

Loneliness. Peter writes to brothers and sisters who were going through afflictions and reminds them they were not the only ones.
Affliction is not a sign of being off God's path. He cares for us in the midst of it. Receive this care.
Today, when I notice I am trying to control everything, I open my hands and pray: Father, this I cast on You.
God steadies those who go through affliction.
seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you. — Matthew 6:33
